Honest Care LLC ("Honest Care," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. It applies to honestcare.health and to the services we offer through it.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide. Name, email address, mailing address, date of birth, payment details, and information you submit through medical intake forms.
- Information collected automatically. Device, browser, IP address, and usage data collected through standard web analytics (no third-party advertising trackers).
- Information from providers and pharmacy partners. Records of your consultation, prescription status, and shipment.
2. How we use information
- To verify identity and eligibility.
- To facilitate your consultation with a licensed provider.
- To process orders and arrange dispensing and shipment by a licensed pharmacy.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To comply with applicable law, including HIPAA where applicable.
3. How we share information
We share your information only as needed to provide the service. Specifically:
- Beluga Health — the independent, U.S.-licensed telemedicine medical group whose clinicians review your medical intake and make clinical decisions. Beluga Health receives the medical information necessary to provide care.
- Rush Pharmacy — our LegitScript-certified U.S. compounding pharmacy partner (1977 Alafaya Trail #1121, Oviedo, FL 32765), which receives the prescription and shipping information needed to dispense and ship your medication.
- Dosable — our platform infrastructure provider, which processes account, intake, and order data on our behalf under a written data-processing agreement.
- Payment processors — receive only the information needed to process payment.
- Service providers — such as email, hosting, and analytics providers, acting on our behalf under written contract.
- Required by law — when compelled by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Health information & HIPAA
Where Honest Care, Beluga Health, or our pharmacy partner act as covered entities or business associates under HIPAA, protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA's Privacy and Security Rules. A separate Notice of Privacy Practices describing how protected health information is used and disclosed by your treating clinicians and the dispensing pharmacy is provided when you create an account and is available on request from help@honestcare.health.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including state and federal recordkeeping requirements applicable to medical and pharmacy records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods for medical and prescription records are set by state and federal law and by our clinical and pharmacy partners.
6. Your choices
- You may request access to or correction of your personal information.
- You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.
7. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share about you.
- Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions required or permitted by law.
- Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Honest Care does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights.

8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Honest Care is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
